Review the files that are stored on my hard drive. You can delete files that have been long unused, or fil pictures or music that is not desirable, or that have large sizes to meet the disk space.
Backup external hard drive to hard drive. Enter an external hard drive port to the USB or FireWire port on the computer. Many external hard drives which already supports plug and play so no need to install the software and it will load automatically when inserted into the computer.
In addition to the external hard drive, you can also be done by storing files on a CD. Insert the writable CD in the CD tray. Select the files to be saved, right-click the file name or icon, select the location “CD Drive” to send files or folders that are stored on the CD.
You can also backup in flash disk. However, the flash also has the capacity constraints. These devices are commonly used for temporary storage or data transfer. Insert flash into the USB port, and the computer will add new destination as an option for file transfer.
